Expectations and Responsibilities

Customer Expectations and Responsibilities

PacWest Pressure Washing is committed to providing reliable, professional service. To ensure the highest quality results and safety for all parties, customers are expected to:

  • Provide safe, clear access to all surfaces being cleaned.

  • Move fragile or valuable items away from the work area.

  • Secure pets indoors or in a safe location.

  • Ensure all windows and doors are properly closed.

  • Notify us in advance of any known surface issues, delicate materials, or problem areas.

Payment Terms and Fees

  • Payment Due: Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Accepted Methods: We accept credit/debit cards (3% processing fee applies), checks, and approved business accounts.

  • Commercial & Contract Work: Jobs over $1,000 require a 50% deposit to schedule.

  • Late Fees: Invoices over 10 days late are subject to a 7% late fee (monthly). Invoices overdue by 30+ days may be sent to collections, and associated legal costs will be added to the balance due.

  • NSF Fee: Returned checks will incur a $35 non-sufficient funds (NSF) fee.

  • Travel Charges: Locations outside our core service area (Everett to Morton to Ocean Shores) may incur a travel surcharge, disclosed during quoting.

Cancellation, Rescheduling & Site Access

  • All Jobs: Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Short-notice cancellations will incur a $150 rebooking fee.

  • Unprepared Sites: If access is blocked or surfaces are not ready, a $150 dry-run or on-site delay fee will apply.

Improper Surface Preparation

Commercial properties or fleet yards that fail to meet agreed pre-cleaning standards (e.g., vehicle movement, debris clearance) will incur a $150 fee for delays or rescheduling. We reserve the right to issue a liability waiver in such cases to protect our crew and equipment.

Weather and Service Rescheduling

We monitor conditions closely. Rain, freezing temperatures, or high winds may require postponement. We will contact you to reschedule at the earliest safe opportunity.

Environmental Responsibility

PacWest Pressure Washing complies with local, state, and federal runoff and environmental regulations. All soaps and detergents used are biodegradable and approved for safe discharge within permitted guidelines.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand by our work. If you're not satisfied:

  • Residential & Commercial: Please contact us within 48 hours with photos or written concerns.

  • Fleet Clients: Quality-related concerns must be reported within 24 hours of service. Documented re-cleans are free of charge within that window.

  • Limitations: Surface issues like oxidation, mineral stains, and sap may not be fully removable. We'll advise you on expectations beforehand.

Damage Claims and Limitations of Liability

  • Claims Window: Any damage claims must be submitted in writing within 3 business days of service. Claims received after this period will not be considered.

  • Scope of Responsibility: PacWest’s liability is limited to the amount of the original service invoice. We are not liable for indirect damages or third-party project costs.

  • Third-Party Scheduling: Allow adequate time between our services and follow-up work (e.g., painting, repairs) to avoid delays from unforeseen rescheduling.

Insurance Coverage

PacWest Pressure Washing is fully licensed and insured in the State of Washington.

Transparent Fee & Fleet Service Policies

At PacWest Pressure Washing, we value clear communication, transparency, and professionalism. Below are the policies and fees that may apply to your service depending on the circumstances.

Booking and Scheduling
All services must be booked via phone, email, or our online system. We request 48 hours' advance notice for all bookings. Priority Wash Program clients receive first access to preferred scheduling windows. Confirmed appointments include a date, time window, and assigned service team.

Preparation Requirements
Properties and vehicles must be prepared according to our checklists. If items (e.g., signage, garbage bins) or vehicles are not properly staged, fees may apply:

  • Commercial: $150 per contracted area for unprepared sites.

  • Fleet: $25 per inaccessible vehicle (e.g., behind locked gates).

Rescheduling and Cancellations
Emergencies happen, but rescheduling within 24 hours of your appointment may result in a $150 fee to cover lost labor and scheduling gaps.
No-shows or incomplete services may also incur fees:

  • Fleet: $40 per missing vehicle if fewer vehicles are available than scheduled.

Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect future scheduling priority.

Waitlist Option
If your preferred time is unavailable, you may request to join our waitlist. Priority Wash Program clients receive first access to openings. Waitlist offers require a response within two business hours.

Service Fees Overview

  • After-Hours/Emergency Service: 20% surcharge for service outside Mon-Sat, 8am–6pm, or on urgent requests.

  • Water Access Fee: $65 if no on-site water is available (portable tanks provided).

  • Travel Surcharge: $1.50/mile beyond a 30-mile radius from Edgewood, WA, or a flat fee for longer distances.

  • Equipment Access/Lift Rental Fee: 10% handling fee on equipment rentals (lift or scaffolding) for commercial and fleet jobs.

  • Specialty Stain Removal: Additional charges apply for deep organic, rust, or oil stains based on severity and area size.

  • On-Site Debris Removal: $50–$250 depending on volume and access after cleaning.

  • Returned/Late Payments: $35 for returned payments. A 5% late fee is applied for each 30-day overdue period.
